The film is a low-budget movie so taking that into consideration and leave your expectations low, however this is one of the worst (no exaggeration) movie of the decade. It's the worst low budget movie to feature crocks, and the worst in general. The Dialogue is so bad, it's laughable. Some of the worst lines uttered into a movie. There so bad as one person would be talking about something else, and then another person will go on to talk about something completely different. Feels rather choppy in that kind of sense. I like the action-Sequence we get at the start of the movie, the dialogue was atrocious and I can't believe it was left in the movie, then you've got a crocodile eating him, and the effects are horrible. Some of the worst effects are in this movie. They didn't quite have the right tech to pull these kind of effects off. So what your left with is a weirdly formatted action piece. I will say the effects on the crocodiles are pretty cool though. And with a bigger budget, I'm sure this movie would work well.
I can appreciate the originality in the movie though, and the creator team trying to give us an original movie. The Movie has the Flood, that's where the Crocks come from, but then it has the people from Jail. And them needing a place to stay. That being the police station. The Dialogue is just as atrocious here as it is in the start of the film, for the same reason. And the film feels disconnected, in a way. Because the characters pop out with these random words that doesn't make any sense, and doesn't connect to what the other character was previously saying.
What's good about this film though is the musical score. Some great dark kinda mysterious music, which fits the narrative of the movie, and is the only thing that makes any ounce of sense in this movie. But that's honestly where the positives start and end. Nothing else in this movie is exactly noteworthy. And the lack of depth the characters get isn't good either. The performances were below par, and that's probably down to the awful dialogue. In some scenes you see the actors muttering there lines, which tells you everything you need to know.
Would I recommend this movie? No, not in gods heaven would I recommend this to anyone. Unless you watch it with your friends, but let me remind you that you'll have to turn your brain off. And not question the sanity of this film. It's as bad as the other reviewers have said, and even stated. Now time for me verdict.
