I really wanted to enjoy this movie. The trailers made it feel so awesome. 20 minutes into it, I already could tell it was such a cliché movie and that everything following would be the same. It felt like it was trying too hard to be a teenage movie and a lot of the jokes just fell flat. It felt so rushed and like they were just trying to check mark what makes a good movie. I am honestly so disappointed in this. I had high expectations. It also strongly felt like they brought in all the characters of the Mean Girls movie and tried to apply the same story here in a different way. Mixed messages for sure. I do not recommend.
