I understand how many critiques claim that this is an unrealistic story, but I would like to remind them that this is a Disney movie made for young people. As I don't think it matters that the script and the acting is not realistic to how people would act, as this movie is in my opinion not meant to represent a hyper realistic love story but a romcom. I first thought that the movie would be super cringe, however, the scenes were really entertaining and there were almost no boring or filler scenes. I also really liked the story-line of Graham and Mandy, although it is really cliche of the jock falling in love with the nerdy girl (however like said this is a Disney movie so expected!!!), the dialogue and scenes they had together were entertaining. The only point was that the main character Mandy was slightly unlikely as she never really said sorry to Graham (which for some reason really bothers me). Furthermore, suprisingly, I actually found this movie very funny.
