I rarely comment but I'm surprised no one mentioned the horrific domestic abuse suffered by Mustafa and Esvet. I usually enjoy these torrid Middle Eastern soap opera dramas, this has an interesting story and a terrific location so I hoped for some escapism . The abuse heaped on Mustafa by his mother was disturbing, it kept me awake, there was no need to indulge in such violence and as much as I wanted to continue with the story the thought of witnessing further abuse and enjoying watching it was too much. After 1.5 episodes I had to back out.
I mostly watch world cinema and this came up an 98% match to my profile but this one got thumbs down. Hope their AI can identify that watching abuse on defenceless people is abhorrent to me.
