I loved it

Warning: Spoilers
I happened across this when I clicked on my Acorn icon in Prime and it was the 2nd movie listed. It's a rainy Monday here in Texas, a perfect morning for an Irish movie.

I first saw Ciaran McMenamin on a Death in Paradise episode. His charisma and accent left me hoping to see him again and when the show Hope Street, which wasn't a great show but not bad came along, I enjoyed his role.

Glad to see he stars in this movie and seems to keep the flow going perfectly.

The supporting cast are all great in their roles and I hope I see them again in something. Forgiveness is so hard -you either can or you can't and I feel that many people can relate to this movie in some way.

I got that he couldn't forgive his father. Abuse leaves scars most of us couldn't imagine. That part of the movie was thankfully kept brief but it helped us understand why he left.

Give it a try, it's entertaining and made me laught and at the end - smile.
