THE HOUSE ON THE CLIFF is another Amazon Prime acquisition that they shouldn't have bothered with. In fact, I found it unwatchable. This Indian/British indie is about a ghost hunter called in to help a couple with the spirits in their house, but it's not a real film, just a succession of absolutely awful CGI ghost effects and characters talking in a room. When I watch films like this, I always wonder what the point is, because it's not discernable to me. From the first scene in which a guy wanders around a house witnessing random, appallingly animated spooks, I felt like I was experiencing a bad drug trip, and it gets no better from there.
