Another worthwhile addition to the monster universe and an absolute must see

Godzilla: Tokyo S. O. S. (2003) is a movie that I recently watched on a random streaming service. The storyline follows Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla where MechaGodzilka was built from the bones of the original Godzilla. Mothra's goddesses warn the human race that the bones must be returned to the ocean or Godzilla and Mothra will have to destroy them. The humans may be too stubborn to believe the goddesses leaving only MechaGodzilla to save them...but will that be enough?

This movie is directed by Masaaki Tezuka (Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla) and stars Hiroshi Koizumi (Mothra vs Godzilla), Akira Nakao (Death at an Old Mansion), Kô Takasugi (Godzilla: Final Wars) and Masami Nagasawa (Mother).

This movie is a monster universe fan's dream. MechaGodzilla, Mothra and Godzilla all look perfect. The monster battles are outstanding and Mothra takes a beating and as you watch the battles you wonder how MechaGodzilka has a chance. The military vs the monsters is also entertaining. The sound effects and background music are perfect and have the classic Godzilla feel. The final battle and conclusion was perfect and the only way the movie made sense.

Overall, this is another worthwhile addition to the monster universe and an absolute must see. I would score this a solid 7/10 and strongly recommend it.
