Film that in my opinion was born already very old compared to its time both for the quality of the shots and for the adaptation of the story. The fact that the film is based on a true story is very compelling and reveals how badly organized justice was in the Soviet Union. For the rest there isn't much to say, the story is very beautiful and compelling and everything is built on the desire for justice and truth of the agent in charge of the investigation into an alleged killer who kills a lot of people. But otherwise it's really a very normal detective story that manages to build anxiety and suspense and for this reason it's a very enjoyable film that doesn't get boring.
