Love these type of films!

Dr Bartholomew Snow , a fashionable psychologist, is hired by the US National Security to treat a mysterious patient on a secret army base. It's a matter of National security- but is he being told the truth, or having the wool pulled over his eyes?

With North by Northwest Alfred Hitchcock kicked off a slew of films of the similar ilk - an innocent man getting entangled into the world of cloak and dagger - and Blindfold is one of them, and it's a solid piece of thriller, with a delightful slice of comedy, Romance, adventure and action. It's fast-paced, has enough twist and turns to keep you from nodding off. Rock Hudson is his usually amiable self as a psychiatrist who, for his country, decides to help National security, and ends up knee-deep in trouble. The inimitable Claudia Cardinale adds some glamour and sizzles, especially in those outfits. It's an underrated comedy-suspense-thriller, the kind they don't make any more. Loved the way Hudson figures out where he had been taken. The last thirty minutes is nail biting. Great scenic swamp and flesh chomping alligators are used to good use. And Henry the mule helps, too.
