Sick (2022) is a movie that I recently watched on Peacock. The storyline follows a group of friends who decide to quarantine at a family cabin to isolate themselves and have a good time while they do it. Some uninvited friends arrive ruining their party and threatening their safe space.

This movie is directed by John Hyams (Alone) and stars Gideon Adlon (The Blockers), Bethlehem Million (Piss Party), Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wilg), Marc Menchaca (Ozark) and Joel Courtney (Super 8 ).

This is a really fun addition to the horror genre. The storyline does have a Scream feel to it in a lot of ways. The acting was believable though the soundtrack wasn't that great or what I expected. I can also say I was okay with everyone dying, there was no characters I cared about. The kill scenes were just okay to start, but get better as the movie unfolds. There's a stake scene I loved and a few gory kills as the movie unfolds. The "where's your mask" question was hilarious as was the overall concept for the film.

Overall, this is a worthwhile addition to the horror genre that's worth watching once. I would score this a 7/10.
