Review of Today

Today (I) (2020)
the bad bulb
5 January 2023
A parable ? A precise portrait of domestic violence ? Inspired reconstruction of the status of wife in late 1960 decade ? Image of machism ?

The message of film is more significant than any definition. It is clear and fair crafted. A woman living alone in an apartment in 1960 style. The TV speaker presenting new about Apollo 12. The husband coming home. The dinner. The bad bulb.

And the same reality day by day.

The changes are few and, at first sight , not real significant. But they work in reasonable manner , suggesting the fair end.

In short, a generous in clues parable about abuse and freedom. About routine, killing one, and about courage to be free. About adiction by other and about the new start in life.

So, just admirable crafted.
