It definitely could do without the hints of racism towards white people. Would have been a way better movie. Found a movie foul four times in one of the first scenes of the family pulling into their new home. Girl was wearing 2 hoop earrings then one then 2 then 1 then 2 all within same scene. Otherwise it was a cute movie. Just sad Hollywood feels the need to not only keep racism alive but to plant it in our children also with subtle hints like "white privilege" because they lived in a nice neighborhood. Try "they worked just like us to get where they did" instead. It is ideals like that that keep this country divided. Do us and yourselves a favor and keep your opinions out of our kids movies!
