Only for Ray Liotta's performance
1 October 2022
This movie seems so unbelievable that it was a bit hard for me to watch it till the end. But only Ray Liotta's presence helped me out. William Dafoe is also good, but his character is not the most important. Ray Liotta - RIP - made so many little features such as this one, most of them forgettable, where he played bad guys, borderline cops, f...up characters of all kind, that it is difficult to say how many exactly...Some of them will emerge from the batch however. Maybe not this one though. Some lousy scenes show that the director did not mind at all of what he did. For instance, after William Dafoe's character hits Liotta in the face several times in a row, in a rage mood, Liotta stand up from the floor with only a bit blood under the nose...It's nothing, just a detail, but that's enough for me to see what kind of junk thos movie is. You can live without it, Ray Liotta or not.
