After a good start more and more disappointing
16 September 2022
I was very impressed with the first few episodes, there was this mysterious and sinister atmosphere, that seemed to promise an exciting and suspenseful story. The leading characters Alma and Tom were very sympathetic and convincingly acted by Mireia Oriol (who succeeded in looking extremely attractive in spite of her wearing throughout all episodes an eye patch!), and Alex Villazán. There was some wonderful photography of the impressive landscapes in the Asturias region of Spain, and (in episode 1) there is this scene where in a thick fog a bus crashes into a ravine, filmed from within the bus, that was maybe the most blood chillingly realistic that I've ever seen! So all this made me feel that nothing could go wrong. Unfortunately, it did.

Gradually the writers seemed to loose focus and came up with more and more farfetched ideas, culminating into a hotchpotch of medieval curses, witchcraft, living dead people, interchanging of bodies, and all kinds of supernatural goings-on. It all became extremely chaotic and hard to follow, and towards the end even tedious. Such a pity of Mireia Oriol and Alex Villazán, I do hope to see them again in a better faring vessel than this slowly sinking ship.
