Way too long than normal! The twins are not as distinguishable as those in the remake!

This is one of the few instances where the remake is far better. I thought the twins were pretty cute for sure. But where they that different? At least, with the remake, one of them was British. Which was a smart move because the audience can tell them apart. In this one, it was difficult distinguishing the girls, where I was just irritated. There wasn't a distinctive feature about the two.

The father was incredibly annoying and unpleasant, so unlike the sweet dad in the remake. The mother, played by the great Maureen O'Hara was also way too pesky and quite the nagger, again, so unlike the good-natured one in the remake. I just couldn't like them or sympathize with them as a viewer, particularly the dad.

Some scenes also dragged and dragged. At over 2 hours and 5 minutes, I think the film could've been cut by 30 minutes. A few scenes were pretty superfluous and unneeded, one being the scene where the twin sisters sing like they're in a musical.
