The greatest hispanic comedian of all time deserved better. This is a poorly written film that rushes through some of Mario Moreno's life chapters. The actor selected to play him falls short in many instances. He's basically a bad impersonator of Moreno's character, Cantinflas, that never goes beyond that. The whole thing feels and looks like cheap telenovela rather than proper a biopic. You'll better off sticking to the actual Cantinflas films, specially the black and white ones.
