A typical 'mad inventor gets revenge on those who thwart him' kind of film so nothing new here. But the mad inventor is played by Brad Dourif and he is so wonderfully over the top that he makes the movie seem more entertaining than it actually is. The film is fine when he is onscreen but otherwise it's mainly Ely Pouget as the new CEO Hayden Cale taking the lead and she's a bit boring. The film does look good and the killer robot nicely nasty but only Mr. Dourif is worth watching.
