[7.5] Caring like a real wolf!
3 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I love animals, so I gave this movie a chance as soon as I got one, to watch it, enjoy it and feel relax as much as I could. Everything was mostly nice and lovely, besides some unrealistic moments from the protagonists and antagonists alike.

I was thoroughly enjoying it up until the "nosy" people and law-abiding authorities plunged onto Victoria and Mystère like birds of prey. From then on up to the end, my idyllic moments were kinda ruined, because I wasn't seeing Mystère enough! Would have loved to see him grow from puppy to a beautiful adult wolf.

Nevertheless, the film was well done with what it had in hands with a lovely somewhat generic ending. The wolf's tender "feelings" and care for Vicky was amazing to see and enjoy.

  • Watched it in French. Much better like that.

  • Victoria, as she said, knew all along that Mystère was a wolf.

  • Mystère in French, among its other meanings, is said about something that is unknown to you and that you know nothing about. So when Victoria asked what's his name, the man replied Mystère! And that was meant as having dual meanings.

Could have been deeper, more intense and lovelier, if it was free of the antagonists and "disturbing" people and just (fully) explored their relationship.
