The humor is universal but, if you're familiar with Israelis, you'll see all types represented here. The English subtitles are great because they translate modern and every-day Hebrew or Arabic sayings into something more familiar to US audiences. The 4th-wall breaking (talking to the camera) provides some of the funniest moments since the employees each see a situation differently and, frequently, more honestly (and funnier) than their actions would indicate. Is it derivative of The Office or Parks and Recreation? Sure, but that's high praise.
