This was my first time watching one of these films, I haven't watched the previous films of the Shooter collection. I thought the attentiveness of the camera to details in the opening scene really informed the audience of the plot. For example, the live stream of - a man about to do a speech in the foreground of the camera. Then to add the assassin taking the shot then to focus pull on a hair beside her which was that of Brandon Bennet. The film throughout involved well choreographed fight scenes, a well structured narrative and predictable yet interesting plot twists which led to what we really wanted to know- the real assassin and the altered voice on the phone she used.
