"I probably sound like a terrible mother"

Warning: Spoilers
A religiously devout grandfather keeps girls in his isolated cabin by a lake and when they don't comply with his wishes he kills them. Though what he actually wants is undefined. His granddaughter gets involved by treating the captives as her friends come to a tea party. The film doesn't really hold together as the behaviour of the child doesn't make sense. She would definitely tell someone about what was going on as she sees it as a good thing. The movie bounces back and forward in time also so it gets confusing, other times it is slow. In one scene you can't even tell what is going on as the focus is on a tree and not the happening behind. A strange directorial choice.

The acting is decent enough but on the whole the movie just seems flat. It needed more tension.
