I didn't realize how honest this movie was when I was a kid...

What a great movie. A time before Tony Curtis let his odd side out and known to the public and the turning of Debbie's cute wonderful nature turning to a more hardened personality on screen. It could not have been made with them before or after that time. They were at the perfect time in their personal and professional lives to make this movie work. The one surprising thing was Walter's acting. I had not liked it as a kid and now think it was very good.

Then Martin Gabel. It is surprising how I didn't know some well known people. It is surprising to me to find work by Martin Gabel and Arlene Francis after all these years. I never knew I had seen them in other things other than What's My Line.

This movie was so very honest with how too many men and women are. It is a movie relevant for any time.

The interactions between Curtis and Reynolds were fantastic and are what drive the movie along every inch of the way. I am very happy I was able to find it again after all these years.
