The film conveys the desperation and hope coming out of hopelessness. While portraying the inhumanity of a particular time in history, the film reminds us that people committing violence may hold a self-righteous belief that what they are doing is correct. The sound clips of speeches and hateful statements, from the past to the present, devolve into a cacophony of voices that serve as an admonition that the same impulses behind the Holocaust are still with us today.
