I loved this show! I've watched every episode at least once, and many episodes dozens of times ('Love Yer Feller Man' comes to mind!) I moved to Georgia in 1990 and the reason I find Squidbillies especially hilarious is that I've actually known people exactly like Early Cuyler, though they're becoming much scarcer these days.
I was stoked that new episodes would be forthcoming. I sat down to watch and immediately thought 'wait...why does Early Cuyler sound like a black dude and not a redneck?' I looked online and found out there was some 'social justice' furore that led to Unknown Hinson being ridden out of town on an überwoke rail and lynched in the Twitter public square!
I'd never heard of Tracy Morgan until now. I harbor no animus toward the man and don't blame him for seizing a lucrative opportunity, but he is NOT a suitable replacement for Early Cuyler's voice. Imagine watching James Earl Jones in a film, but voiced by Garth Brooks...totally distracting and verging on sacrilege! They should've just ended the show instead of going out tarnished and in tatters.
