No it isn't an epic, but the story behind this film is definitely compelling...you simply have to love Flora, an older circus elephant who can't do her tricks anymore. The circus owner's 14 year old daughter gets wind of Flora being scheduled for euthansia as the most expedient way to handle the 'problem', and steals Flora , embarking on a journey to get her to the nearby preserve. Actually it isn't all that nearby and the little mini adventures pile up as game hunters and others close in...
Sorry but this is one of those heartwarming stories that fewer and fewer people seem to appreciate in today's world...it is well worth 97 minutes of your time...!!
