Sub moronic

I have never been a fan of Will Ferrell. He is tolerable in supporting roles and a little goes a very long way. His approach to humour is as subtle as a kick to the groin. Chris Kattan on the other hand is just untalented. Even in his years at SNL he had little to offer and his characters were uninventive. Together they are a lethal coctail of comedy poison. I imagine there was an attempt to recapture the success of the Wayne's World films, but the lack two key items: likeable characters and talented actors. Even on SNL these characters were less than one note and I could never imagine that someone thought that they could carry an entire film....but look at the It's Pat movie to show that they were just dredging the bottom of the barrel. Wayne and Garth were likeable in their annoying way but they were never as obnoxious as these two idiots. Just five minutes of this abomination is torture to watch. I began rooting for everyone who opposed these two idiots, which is always a good sign that a film is failing horribly. A one-star rating was far too generous and go a notch lower to less than zero. I imagine that it died a quick death at the box office and a handful of stoners attended its limited run and found it hysterical. The only way this might be amusing would be heavily medicated. It's fascinating how this even got made and then released. Using the term "worst movie ever made" has no real meaning but this would surely make the list. I feel bad Michael Clarke Duncan, Dan Hedaya, Loni Anderson, and even the usually intolerable Molly Shannon for having been talked into appearing in this junk. I hope the paychecks were substantial.
