It was an okay movie. I feel like it stole/borrowed from a lot of other movies, like Tarzan, Jungle Book, Avatar, Planet of the apes and so on. It just makes it 100% predictable. But maybe that's okay sometimes. Also Ash didn't catch a single pokemon. He tried like twice but gave up way too easy. I just missed some of what makes me enjoy watching pokemon. Ash and Pikachu were merely side characters which felt kinda sad. So yeah, not bad but not great. Somewhere in the middle. Very "lagom" as we say here in Sweden.
