Dark and disturbingly wonderful
11 September 2021
It's been a long time since a series has been able to really shock me... this show managed it.

I applaud NRK for having the guts to make this show as it is, an absolute uncensored head first plunge into the lavish but hollow and abyss like lives of 4 of the most selfish, cut throat, insensitive and arrogant men a show will ever centre around.

99% of us will never be able to relate to these men or their way of life, nor would we replicate or condone their behaviour.

Yet despite all of this, somehow you can't help but like them.

As the show progresses you find yourself hoping they get away with the most despicable and shocking things they do.

I find Norwegians do tend to enjoy dark humour (as do I) this show has it in bucket loads and then some.

The casting and acting is superb, especially from Simon J. Berger who plays the role of Adam so convincingly that you'll both admire and be absolutely terrified of him. The 4 of them really seem to "mesh" into a genuinely believable group of friends of the worst kind.

I've watched season 1 and 2 multiple times while I eagerly await season 3 and I highly recommend this show to anyone not easily offended who will see this for the masterpiece it is.
