This movie shows it all, not hold backs
10 September 2021
I was so emotionally moved during and after this movie ... I still am. I couldn't believe the realities of trafficking until I watched Angle: Lost Girls. I've watched other trafficking movies and they were all so soft and didn't get to the nitty gritty details of what the girls are going through. Julia doesn't hold back at all. We see from the perspective of Angie, who gets trafficked, from how the fake friendship starts with this guy that lures her into the world of trafficking.

We see how she's treated by her kidnappers, it's horrible, then she is able to escape and go back home. Then you think it's over, but it's not, the traffickers now hunt her down and bring her back into trafficking again. Her parents and sister are horrified by all that's going on.

In the end, ok, I won't give it away, but you need to watch this movie, it will show you what is really going on in the world of trafficking. It brings strong awareness to the crimes of trafficking.

Great job Julia Verdin!
