Sister Gertrude (Anita Ekberg) thinks maybe she's homicidal due to complications of brain surgery, though all tests come back negative. After all, she's no saint: junkie, nymphomaniac, lesbian, so why not psycho? Anyhoo, residents of the nursing home where she works are getting picked off mysteriously, and Sis is having terrible visions of their murders--or is it real? Miss Ekberg is way overdressed to kill in a billowing white habit complete with wimple so that only her hands and face show. Well, she does have beautiful hands, and beautiful eyes in those 70's signature close-ups. And she does doff it once to don a slinky black cocktail dress and pick up an anonymous stranger for sex up against a wall, too eager to take off the dress in the heat of desire. She gets way better production values than found in most of these trashy exploitation vehicles.
