I finally got around to checking this iconic film out and it was not as scary as I was promised. Over the years I've heard nothing but praise for how scary this film was. Maybe it's because I watch so much horror, but I wasn't scared at all really throughout my viewing of this film, though I do see how people could be scared by it. It dragged at points, but in the end told a very cohesive and well planned out narrative. Definitely recommend for those looking to get into horror without having something too terrifying as a first watch.
