The South Koreans do it again with this inventive and powerful story of a rogue lawyer investigating a murder case and discovering that the man residing in prison for the crime might actually be innocent. What starts off as a traditional legal drama becomes something much more involving as a conspiracy emerges and the kind of hard-knuckle violence that Korean cinema is known for soon takes place, including a nod to CHINATOWN. Great acting and direction throughout from all of the cast and plenty of intense moments make this a winner of a film.
