Things I did not remember:
9 July 2021
Greg being chased by Confederates

Rodrick being sexually assaulted

Or Mr. Jefferson being the victim of police brutality.

And while I still enjoyed this one, I feel as though the first one worked because it was a good all-rounder concerning all aspects of Greg's life, and it was a nice way of kicking off the series, the second worked better because it was more focused on his relationship with Rodrick and it was very relatable and even touching at points, whereas this one works...kind of.

If this film had more of a focus in mind, like the previous one, it seems to be Greg's relationship with his dad and how they have seemingly nothing in common, and while it's not...bad necessarily, it feels rushed to me. Like there was one scene lasting all of two minutes where they make up for how they've been kind of annoying to each other for most of the film, and that was that.

The performances are still pretty great thankfully (once you get past Greg's voice changing, curse you entropy, why couldn't you have let them make more of these with the same actors), and I still found it funny and fairly well directed, but some little touch was...missing this time. Some of the jokes and scenarios that play out feel a little forced or convenient, so maybe I am glad it stopped here after all.

Oh wait, it didn't?

Oh.
