Eleanor Parker was even more appealing in this somewhat goofy comedy than in her dramatic roles. Her physical comedy moves surprised me making me laugh out loud. Folding the bedding was wonderful. She combines shyness with a yearning for romance that is very engaging. Halfway through the movie I wondered who wouldn't fall in love with her. Ronald Reagan was excellent and Eve Arden was terrific as always. Everyone did a superb job which means the director was one of the best. Nothing was out of place and the story moved right along.
