It's up there with SATC. I even think it's it « old world » pendant. Billie Piper is the perfect Belle and you never get bored watching « her » adventures, because it's in a small format with few episodes each seasons. My favorite parts are mostly from season 1 and 2, but I also think seasons 3 and 4 are a nice way to keep following the heroine's journey. It's a shame it didn't last longer, though, and that the storyline was kind of dragged by that dead end relationship with Ben... And the awful music replacing every songs from the first airings. Making some scenes completely lose their edge. But it's a series that still holds, and one of the best of its kind.
