This movie reminded me a lot of Sparrows Dance and Destination Wedding. This movie is better than both but they are similar. I see some reviews saying how unrealistic the story line is, really, have you never attended a garbage class reunion? I have so that part is accurate. The best hotel in a crappy little town being way under booked, typical. Lucky that they even had a hotel, towns like that usually only have a sad motel. Anyway, the story is cute, and fun and sad. I would have enjoyed some different outfits on the leads, they literal wear two outfits the entire movie. I could not go 48 hrs in two sets of clothes, nope. And the ending was appropriate, good movie.
I need to mention that I have never seen either of the two leads, or any of the actors in anything, ever. They were very good. Last night I watched a movie with some high end recognized names, and it was a dumpster fire, so bad. The A listers really need to up their game or step aside.
