(April 29, 2021) This is an ideal example of excellent actors cast poorly. Specifically, Gene Hackman & Ian Holm. Both are/were (respectively) excellent actors, but wrong for these roles. To me, Hackman is not a leading man & Holm didn't seem Arabic at all. Skip this "Lawrence of Arabia" wannabe; it doesn't come close.
