Julia is fantastic as Molly, she's no "Mary Sue" that learns the force in one movie that took Luke three movies to figure out. The character obviously has some issues when dealing with people, the fight scene where she stops to clean herself isn't gratuitous nudity, she's hawt, but that's beside the point.
Some criticize the fighting, the Molly character hasn't spent her life living in a Dojo studying from a Shaolin Monk, nor is she a Vampire on Buffy that always seemed to develop super kung fu skills after being turned, so her fighting style sucks, that's reality for you.
Production values are not great, but if you look at what they do with what they have, the production team did a great job. Remember that show Doctor Who? been around 60+ years.
Finally, this movie has the right idea, lets have fun and be entertained, if you want Hollywood dreck hammered out in a series of focus groups, then avoid this movie like the plague.
