Keep your guns loaded.

Warning: Spoilers
Locations weren't bad. Props, costumes, and production were okay for a low budget movie. Plot was somewhat clear, but it felt a little like 30 minutes were cut from the movie where they actually explained who was who and what was what. Wouldn't really matter though, because most of the movie consisted of people being dumb.

Everyone involved in the movie seemingly graduated form the Hollywood School of Soldiery where they are taught to walk around holding a gun weird and randomly say stupid things like "flank right" or "form a perimeter" or a new classic "keep your guns loaded."

The commander certainly didn't help any. He was the lowest energy, most defeatist military commander I've ever seen. Basically the Eeyore of military commanders.

There is a scene in this movies where the main characters come across a roadblock ambush. This is in the context of a place where almost everyone is dead, few have running cars, and no one has gas. A roadblock ambush makes as much sense as a rainboot store in the desert.
