Warning: Spoilers
This campy science fiction adventure is an absolute silly delight, set in a South Seas Island filled with man eating plants and trees whose arms become snake-like and can reach down and curl around passers-by. There is also a monster, one of the most hideous in film history, that is used for sacrifices, literally raping its female victims to death and leaving only their limbs as evidence that they existed.

Researchers Kent Taylor and John Ashley, along with Taylor's younger wife, the rather silly named Beverly Hills, show up to set up camp on the island and find a fantasy island where a bunch of little Philippino versions of Tattoo Run around as servants. Perhaps they need to catch the love boat out of there right away because what they find is unbelievably horrific!

Given a tour of the island by the seemingly civilized Mario Montenegro, the visitors learned that the natives have returned to their old customs against their will, and that is what has led them to sacrificing chosen women to be the bride of this horrific monster where the wedding ends right as the honeymoon has begun. there are moments that are extremely scary yet others that are wonderfully laughably funny. I've seen many movies of this theme from the 1960's and 70's, cheap and scale but obviously influenced by classics such as "Cobra Woman" and "From Hell it Came". This is one of the most memorable, one I'll never forget.
