"This isn't good for the house"
7 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A very confusing story with lots of unanswered questions For example at the end it seemed only Penny's body was discovered. It's shown in a body bag outside the house. What about the others killed that night including the two policemen? Were they in the house? Was Penny the only one? Did Penny dream it all? Did Penny die by falling down the stairs like Giselle? Etc, etc. The film relies on jump scares (that aren't scary) and occasional bits of gore which aren't gory. It had a death by water pump scene which was gory but it was too hilarious to take seriously. In fact at first I thought the film was going to be a comedy but it wasn't. The acting was plainly poor except for Howard McNair as Keith Drummond the psychic who was the most interesting character.

In the first three minutes a character referenced Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci. Ha-ha. Well, this movie isn't up to their standards. Even up to their occasional low standards. This is a ghost story that leaves the spine chill-less,
