NINE LIVES is a real cheapie horror flick from the UK that I'd never heard of before now. I suppose it was responsible for instigating Paris Hilton's short-lived film career - I seem to remember her being in HOUSE OF WAX afterwards - but she's typically awful here, as is the rest of the cast. A bunch of characters retire to a Scottish mansion for some R&R but instead find themselves menaced by a spirit that can possess them and make them commit murder. A few knifings are all that happens in the way of incident, and the rest is sheer B-movie tedium.
