Cartoon Network ran this movie to hype up viewers for WW1984. Bad idea.

Warning: Spoilers
If a movie starts bad, it won't get better. Move on. I deleted my recording 34 minutes in, which included commercials. I should have done it earlier. Five minutes into the movie, Queen of Themyscira battles her daughter Princess Diana, to stop Diana from leaving with US Air Force Officer Steve Trevor, to save America from evil aliens. Her Mom wins the fight, but ends up giving Diana freewill to decide. What was the point of the fight? In America, a professor or science lady trains and mentors Diana on American culture, I think. My mind started trailing off due to boredom. Diana/Wonder Woman fights criminals in cheesy fight sequences, followed by a soapy teen angst-revenge plot. Wonder Woman's American mentor dies. Depressing. Enter Etta Candy, who gets the standard Hollywood transformation vs respecting the source material. The voice actors didn't do it for me. The mission to America was painfully dull and depressing. I kept wondering why Wonder Woman didn't return to her glorious Themyscira for good.
