I was shocked at how graphic this movie was. They never cut away from the horrific reality of this illness, or the suicide attempt. I can't begin to imagine the conflicting emotions one much feel when not wanting a parent to die, but not wanting them to suffer, and allowing them to make a choice, before the option is taken away. This was a nasty reminder that life is sometimes not fair. Great performances from everyone. Under these circumstances people should have the right to end their life.
