Crazy Cast Surfing and Swinging and Singing
19 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Frankie and Annette are together again. This time the cast has some different support. I wish after watching it that the Comedians in the cast - Amsterdam, Rickles, and Hackett could have been given more jokes. It is rare to see all 3 of them in the same movie though Morey really doesn't get many good lines.

Having Rickles play Fanny, main charge of muscle men is a good spot. Peter Lupus under an alias in the cast as a muscle man gets to flex his pecks before going to work for the Impossible Mission team. There's lots of good looking women, in fact enough that even Annette often gets upstaged.

There is a bit of a plot, as Frankie has an identity crisis and almost leaves Annette. Especially when a rich Countess falls in love with him and offers him untold riches to leave. She is a busy one as she flirts with Peter Lupus before meeting Frankie on a moon lit beach. Frankie is coming back from a night time surf trip.

The cameo by Peter Lorre at the end is inspired, though it is not the end. The film has a promo for the next movie, not an unusual thing for films in this genre, MGM owns this now, but the original production company is American International. While they were never a top studio, they did a lot of films during the 1960's.
