There is a reason Lea Michele is no longer on TV and this is as good a reason as any. She may be a decent singer and a passable Broadway actress (over theatrical) but she is horrible on TV and in movies.
This project looked like another attempt to structure something around her. It doesn't work! The other actors in this show were just as bad. Very stiff and very predictable. Even David Spade could not save it! This was a waste of time watching and a greater waste of money making it!
