We didn't come here for the plot, which it actually has...but the martial arts on display and the tired "Discover who you are" trope these movies are known for. It's a nice entertaining flick featuring Keeno from TMNT II (the original) and he was in the Rundown
So basically the two protagonists and Rod Shneider are friends and their "Father" has a fish taco shop on the beach. When ninjas show up for the future Crown Prince of Paktusan (idc how it's spelled) everything goes 100 mi/ minute
Leslie Nielsen is cast as a funny and diabolical villain and does it in a charming style.
I recommend this flick if you just want some escapism
