Warning: Spoilers
There is little point in me explaining what is show is about or who is or has been in it. All I can really say about it is that is an awful show with hackneyed plots and bad actors.

It was 1985 when the residents of Ramsay Street first floated onto the screens. It seemed to find an audience right away, many of which ( perhaps unsurprisingly ) happened to be women. The show was also responsible for launching the careers of Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue. I personally found the show excessively painful to watch, especially with the unwarranted incidental music which cropped up in the most inappropriate of places. Naturally, 'Neighbours' came in for quite a bashing in comedy circles, what with comedians like Josie Lawrence and Kate Robbins giving it merciless treatment on their comedy shows. Even 'Rab C. Nesbitt' famously ranted about it in a 'Naked Video' sketch in the late '80's. Sadly, TV controllers do not seem to have noticed or taken notice of this as the show is still running today. Like with 'Knots Landing', about the only nice thing that one can say about the show is the catchiness of the theme tune.
