I really don't mind drinking, smoking, sex and violence in anything if it is justified, but those characters start every freaking dialogue with a whole bottle of booze surrounded by clouds of smoke, so instead of following the plot, I keep asking myself: how are they still standing up? No wonder there's no sex here. I mean, i's logical.
And the dialogues. They are all So Important. And Heavy. So Heavy and So Important. Full of Momentous Meaning. And Atmosphere. That's why they're so slow. As though the showrunners wanted us to Absorb Every Moment of this pretentious peace of... television. (Seriously, you can go make a cup of coffee or give somebody a call or clean the kitchen while it's on, you won't miss anything.)
I started watching this show (oh, why?! why!?) and if I survive, I'll finish it somehow. But I seriously don't care what happens at the end. I just want it to end.
