Eat, Play, Love (2017 TV Movie)
4/10
Predictable and boring

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but it was even worse than I had anticipated.

It's very predictable and within the first five minutes you already know how the movie is going to end.

Apart from that the characters themselves lack any depth whatsoever. All of them seem to have one personality trait which makes them very one-dimensional and, in this case, boring (Especially the protagonists disappointed me. I don't think that either of them are strong enough to be the focal point of the movie.).

Despite it being about Dr. Carly Monroe's love to her old high school sweetheart and the adventure of trying to win him back (which is neither adventurous nor original) I don't think that there is any connection or chemistry between them.

I also don't think that Jason Cermak was the right choice for Dan. He doesn't really fit into the role and apart from that only seems to posses one facial expression. In my opinion Dan is the most boring character and it makes you question why he is desired by not one but TWO women.

Also worth noting is that this movie only deals with two topics. Dogs and love. They don't talk about anything else which underlines my point of it being very one-dimensional and flat.

The only good thing is that there are quite a few dogs in this movie. But even they can't save this mess.
